About Us

Welcome to Sidestepping Normal!

We are a millennial couple who quit our predictable lives in the UK to live an alternative life on the Greek island of Crete with our dog Dora.

After exploring a new culture, learning a new language, renovating our tiny Greek ruin, becoming more self sufficient and more environmentally aware…we’re back in the UK to create our Greek lifestyle here!

Join us, our baby bump and our growing menagerie of animals as we search for a simple life in England.
